27 Oct Financial woes of TACV continue – passenger numbers in decline
TACV is trying to restructure, adding potentially lucrative destinations (such as connecting Paris and Amsterdam with Brazil), but the cash generated from the traditional routes appears to be in decline. The number of passengers from the USA and Paris has declined. Also the number of passengers travelling between the Cabo Verde islands has declined.
The cash-strapped company again had to call on government loans to pay it’s staff in September.
