A link has now been established between brain abnormalities of newborn babies and Ziko infection. The recent outbreak of Ziko virus infections has prompted US health officials to issue advice for pregnant women not to travel to Cabo Verde.

IATA have expelled TACV from their organisation. This means that that other airlines will not take passengers with TACV tickets and it means that TACV will need to pay most costs in advance.

The weekly flight between Paris and Santo Antao is no longer available. The French company R4 has stopped the contract with TACV. The reasons are unknown.

Another set of flight cancellations by TACV !
This time yesterday's and Sunday's flight from Lisbon impacting the delivery of the newspaper Asemana (printed in Portugal).
Also, the flight on Saturday 31 Oct from Sal to Lisbon has been cancelled.
